Say whaaat?! Cocoa? In a pasta dough? Are you crazy?!
Yes, yes and maybe. Cocoa in pasta dough is not just a crazy idea of some chocoholic, but this combination is actually used in Sicily. Sicilians are famous for having a sweet tooth, some of their pastry is even too sweet for my taste.
It is rather difficult to come by ready-made chocolate pasta, so why not make it yourself? Nigella Lawson has created a recipe for chocolate pasta, caramel and pecans, but you don’t even have to go that sweet with chocolate pasta. I have some things in mind, but sauce is scheduled later. First, some more coloured pasta.
